1. Promoter
The promoter is Incredible Dog Shower Ltd, company number 16559039, registered office at Springside Farm, Springside Road, Walmersley, Bury, England, BL9 5QU (“IDS” or the “Promoter”). Barkin & Meowson is the prize partner.
2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees, directors and immediate family members of the Promoter, the Barkin & Meowson business responsible for supplying the prizes, and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. The Promoter may require reasonable evidence of eligibility.
3. How to enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, complete and submit the Grand Designs Live competition form with your first name, last name and a valid email address before the closing time. Marketing opt-in is optional and is not a condition of entry. One entry per person/email address will be accepted.
4. Promotion period
The prize draw opens when the Grand Designs Live 2026 competition page goes live on Friday 2nd October at 7am and closes at midnight on Sunday 4th October. Entries received after the closing time will not be included.
5. Prizes
There are three prizes: one £100 Barkin & Meowson voucher and two £50 Barkin & Meowson vouchers. The total prize value is £200. Voucher codes can be spent at www.barkinandmeowson.com and must be used within six months of issue. They are subject to the applicable voucher and store terms. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. The Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
6. Winner selection
Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the closing date using a verifiably random computer process. The first valid entry selected will receive the £100 voucher and the next two valid entries selected will each receive a £50 voucher. The Promoter will retain appropriate evidence of the random selection process.
7. Winner notification
The Promoter will contact winners using the email address supplied on entry, normally within five working days of the draw. Winners must respond within seven days of notification unless a different reasonable deadline is stated in the winner email. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time, is ineligible or cannot accept the prize, the Promoter may select a replacement winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
8. Prize fulfilment
The Promoter and/or Barkin & Meowson may use the winner’s minimum necessary contact information to issue the relevant voucher. A winner does not need to consent to marketing to receive a prize. Prizes will normally be provided within 30 days of the closing date unless the winner is told otherwise.
9. Winner information
The Promoter may make available information about prize winners where required by applicable promotional rules. A winner may object to some or all of this information being made available; however, the Promoter may still provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
10. Data protection
Personal information submitted for the prize draw will be used to administer the competition, validate entries, select and contact winners, fulfil prizes, maintain appropriate records and, where an entrant has separately opted in, send marketing communications. IDS and Barkin & Meowson marketing choices are separate. IDS will only share entrant details with Barkin & Meowson for marketing where the entrant has specifically opted in to Barkin & Meowson marketing. Please see the Competition Privacy Notice for further information.
11. Fair participation
The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, generated by automated means, submitted in breach of these Terms or otherwise reasonably considered invalid. The Promoter is responsible for administering the promotion fairly and in accordance with these Terms.
12. Changes or cancellation
If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control materially affect the fair or safe operation of the promotion, the Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel it where reasonably necessary. Any change will be communicated appropriately and will not be used to avoid awarding prizes that can reasonably be awarded.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, the Promoter is not responsible for failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including network, device or platform failures that prevent an entry from being received.
14. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entrants retain any mandatory rights they have under the law applicable where they live in the UK.
